The Tight-Knit Events...

...centered around community involvement: teach people about the issues at hand and how to knit as a response, recruiting people to join the mission!

The different locations of events allow various groups of people to get involved in Tight-Knit. School Events target students, Troop Events target fellow Girl Scouts, and Virtual Events target non-locals who still want to join in!

Even people who had never once knitted before have attended these events, learned some knitting-basics, and gone on to complete entire hats with the help of the "Knitting 101" materials, sharing their hats with me so I can pass them along to Showering Love and using action to show homeless populations in South Florida and beyond that their community cares for them and they are deserving of respect, love, and warmth.
